Refund & Terms
How purchases, downloads, refunds, and licensing work for our digital map files.
These terms apply to purchases of digital map files from icelandphotomap.com (the "Site"), operated by Vectraseo LLC ("we", "us", or "our"). By completing a purchase you agree to the terms below. They sit alongside our Privacy Policy.
What You Are Buying
Our products are downloadable GPS map files — KML, GPX, and GeoJSON — containing curated coordinates and notes for photography locations in Iceland. They are digital goods: no physical item is shipped. The files are designed to be imported into apps such as Google My Maps, Gaia GPS, Garmin BaseCamp, Maps.me, OsmAnd, and similar tools, and work offline once imported.
Payment & Delivery
Prices are listed in US dollars (USD) and are charged as a one-time purchase — there is no subscription. Payment is processed securely by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details. After a successful payment, your download is delivered instantly on the confirmation screen and/or by email. If a download link does not arrive or does not work, contact us and we will re-send it.
Refund Policy
Because map files are delivered instantly and can be downloaded and kept, all sales are generally final once the files have been downloaded. However, we stand behind the product:
- If a file is corrupted, will not import, or is materially not as described, email us within 14 days of purchase and we will fix the file or issue a full refund.
- If you were charged in error or accidentally purchased a duplicate, contact us and we will refund it.
We want you out shooting, not fighting a download — reach out and we will make it right.
License & Acceptable Use
Your purchase grants a personal, non-exclusive license to use the map files for your own photography and travel planning. Please do not resell, redistribute, sublicense, or publish the coordinate files as your own product. Using the locations to make photographs — including for commercial photography work — is, of course, completely fine.
Data Accuracy & Field Safety
We work hard to keep coordinates, access notes, and seasonal guidance accurate, but conditions in Iceland change — roads close, weather turns, and access can be restricted without notice. The files are provided "as is" as a planning aid. Always check current road and weather conditions (such as road.is and safetravel.is), respect closures and private land, and use your own judgement in the field. We are not liable for travel decisions made using the data.
